    As part of the AMS Transformation Project, the AMS Training Content Developer will play a vital role in development of e-learning and training collateral for MMA’s agency management system, Applied Epic, to engage and train colleagues across all skill levels and multiple business segments. Content developed will emphasize both Industry and MMA best practice in use of the AMS and its underlying workflows, as our existing and recently hired colleagues adopt the system and as we onboard newly acquired agencies in the future. An ideal candidate will possess well-rounded experience in testing of software and development of user guides and cutting-edge training materials for software products, with the ability to address FAQs in a systematic manner.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Under guidance of Sr. Director of AMS Onboarding & Training, work collaboratively with the National AMS Trainers to create and deploy engaging training and informational resources that enable colleagues to navigate and master the AMS as deeply and quickly as possible.
    • In collaboration with the rest of the AMS Onboarding & Training team, develop and curate a comprehensive library of e-learning resources (including “show me / try it” simulations), which can easily be structured into Learning Tracks/Paths specific to colleague role and skill set.
    • In collaboration with AMS Trainers, develop visual and classroom collateral to support ILT sessions.
    • In collaboration with the rest of the AMS Onboarding & Training team, build and maintain JIT (just-in-time) training tool, which guides colleagues through AMS in real time.
    • Work collaboratively with the Line of Business Process Leaders and AMS Trainers to memorialize and maintain SOPs with MMA’s digital SOP platform.
    • Incorporate all system upgrades and process changes conveyed by AMS Trainers, keeping e-learning and training collateral consistently current.
    • Collaborate with the AMS Onboarding & Training Team and the National L&D Team to encourage ongoing colleague development by ensuring National AMS Training offerings compliment and elevate the Line of Business Technical Training provided by the L&D Team.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Ability to affect positive change and collaborate with senior management, regional training resources and national/regional stakeholders, effectively working across all levels of the organization.
    • Displayed creativity and forward thinking in learning content design. Must possess the ability to develop content with a special ‘human touch’, ensuring material is consumable, inspiring, fun and reflective of our culture.
    • Clear understanding of various learning modalities and ability to effectively incorporate into engaging content.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently, effectively managing time, fulfilling deliverables within communicated deadlines and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and value to the organization.
    • Prior experience in content development/copywriting focused on training curriculum, user manuals, SOPs and FAQs strongly preferred.
    • Prior experience with eLearning authoring software, e.g. Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, strongly preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple projects simultaneously, and demonstrated successful follow through on deliverables.
    • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field, or equivalent professional experience of 5+ year(s) in a related job role.
    • Strong knowledge of client relationship, agency and learning management systems (CRM, AMS, LMS, etc.), such as Applied Epic, Salesforce and Appinium preferred. Demonstrated experience with comparable products will also be considered.
    • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on MS PowerPoint required

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    • Occasional travel may be required. Travel may consist of off-site venues, occasional overnight stays, and visits to other operating companies.
    • Work occurs during regular day hours as well as occasional extended hours and schedule flexibility necessary to complete tasks to meet needs.
