    Job Summary

    The Learning and Development Administrator will provide logistical support for all aspects of internal and external learning activities to ensure the learning needs are met in accordance with company standards, procedures, and processes. These activities include using the current Learning Management System (LMS) to create and maintain course offerings, using various vendor portals for registrations, and coordinating with outside services for learning events.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Act as the Learning Inbox administrator and help desk support for employees needing assistance with learning and development processes, courses/classes, eLearning, navigation, etc.
    • Distribute/upload course content, maintain class registration, and keep records of each training course and prepare reports/statistical summaries.
    • Obtain, assemble, distribute/upload and organize course materials and teaching aids, as required, for each type of program, including the Heartland Learning Hub (intranet).
    • Assist in the preparation and updating of training documentation, such as training content, decks, manuals, notes, questionnaires/surveys, and other support materials.
    • Plan, organize and execute events for the People Team and the Learning Team. Coordinate and arrange for the use of audio visual and other necessary equipment. Find and arrange appropriate spaces and facilities for training. May make catering arrangements for meals and refreshments.
    • Maintain and may reorder training material, tools, etc. regarding internal and external training sources. Process and track purchase orders, receivers, and invoices.
    • May act as a training instructor, present information, or fill-in for an instructor, as needed.
    • Enhance the department and organization by accepting ownership of the responsibilities of the job. Explore opportunities to increase personal value. Be relentless in seeking continuous improvement.

    Job Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED required. A minimum of two years of work experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • One year of administration experience required. Training administration experience preferred.
    • Learning management system experience preferred. Experience with SuccessFactors preferred.
    • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
    • Adept at streamlining manual processes, supporting and maintaining technology platforms, and troubleshooting customer issues in a fast-paced technology environment.
    • Passion for learning and staying updated with industry trends in e-learning and LMS technologies.
    • Experience presenting or training in front of groups preferred.
    • Superior project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment.
    • Advanced computer application and technology skills; Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Products.
    • Valid Driver’s License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.
    • This position can be based from our Lenexa, KS or St. Charles, MO facilities.
    • This is a non-exempt position with an hourly payrate.
