About the Position
A Senior Instructional Designer leads projects from intake to deployment and is accountable for consulting with business leaders to ensure effective course design, development, and meeting overall project timelines. Train, mentor, and coach instructional designers as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design or related area
- Four (4) years of experience in instructional design
- Detailed knowledge of adult learning, instructional design and distance learning theories, and methodologies
- Master’s degree in instructional design or related area
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient knowledge of Articulate Storyline or similar eLearning tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, client management skills, self-direction, and motivation
- Ability to handle multiple complex projects
- Ability to listen, and respond to internal customer needs in a timely manner
- Manage time effectively to complete projects and meet deadlines
- Creative and concise writing ability
- Confident and results-driven; consultative orientation, strong people, and process/project management capability
- Ability to provide advanced instructional design consulting services
