    As an Instructional Designer, Advisor you will be responsible for enabling the design, development and implementation of new hire and upskill learning as well as on-going maintenance of learning content for Coverage Review Operations. In this role, you will have the chance to design and develop curricula, training, and knowledge content to support adult learning for both virtual and on-site learning needs. You will create learning journeys for our team members to set them up for success while supporting an evolved learning culture to enhance the learning experience and accelerate the learner’s confidence and performance. This role is perfect for someone who has passion in supporting learning needs of our team members in support of the overall customer experience.


    How you will make an impact:

    • Use Adult Learning Theory principles, provide consultation to leaders and stakeholders to determine learning strategies
    • Use Instructional Design methodologies and follow processes such as ADDIE to design, develop and implement curriculum and content, across multiple modalities and formats, for both new hire and tenured roles
    • Create strategic learning plans integrated with knowledge management and change management
    • Lead large-scale projects and coordinate with various internal partners to deliver on-time learning solutions that meet business needs
    • Write performance-based objectives and behavior-based assessments to demonstrate knowledge and skill transfer
    • Evaluate the success of training content by analyzing learner feedback, performance data and participate in classroom observations
    • Continuously look for opportunities to enhance the content and learning experience through re-designing materials which may include reducing lecture, adding experiential learning and interactivity, and incorporating feedback for improvements
    • Perform ongoing curriculum maintenance as needed to ensure training materials are current and documentation is available in a secure shared location
    • Partner with facilitation teams to ensure they are prepared to deliver content and curriculum, coordinating train the train programs
    • Partner with quality to understand trending, root causes and make recommendations about potential solutions
    • Partner with business SMEs to audit curriculum to identify changes in products, systems and processes that impact training and update the curriculum accordingly
    • Communicate effectively with senior level management & stakeholders
    • Research and apply industry best practices, trends, and feasibility of various learning modalities
    • Mentor and coach others on Instructional Design methodologies
    • Conduct quality audits of peer learning materials and content

     

    What you will need to be successful:

    • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Instructional design certification preferred
    • 5+ years progressive corporate instructional design experience
    • 7+ years developing content strategy, specifically improving existing training plans in an agile environment preferred
    • 5+ years’ experience developing training curriculum for a customer service call center and or Healthcare industry preferred
    • Strong skills working with Articulate Storyline required
    • Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Vyond experience preferred
    • Experience in designing innovative adaptive learning, social learning, micro-learning, scenario-based learning, conceptual, and system learning
    • Ability to incorporate the principles of adult learning into designing training curricula for instructor-led and virtual delivery, as well as for eLearning
    • Ability to lead large projects and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of requested and required training materials
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to bring innovative thought processes to curriculum design and content curation
    • Experience mentoring employees in a peer-to-peer relationship highly preferred
    • Willing and able to travel up to 10%

     

    We expect this role to be hybrid, working in office at least half of your week, and have a typical work schedule of Monday – Friday, normal business hours, or as business needs dictate.

    If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
