VMD is supporting a large federal contracting company with the delivery of a 10-year contract supporting the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Integrated Service Center (ISC). As part of this effort, VMD is leading the IT training initiatives to engage with FAA personnel to instruct them on the use of the IT tools and technologies made available to them by the FAA. This is an important function as it ensures that FAA staff members can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their efforts by having the knowledge needed to fully leverage these IT technologies.
VMD is seeking an Instructional Systems Design SME to support of the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Service Center (FAA ISC) on the Customer Experience and Innovation/User Education team.
- Implement training courses for technical and procedural-based topics.
- Develop and deliver standard, complex, and customized training based on needs.
- Conduct human centered design discussions to gain knowledge of current practices and needs for the purpose of including in forthcoming training sessions.
- Develop and update service training instructor-led classroom materials, including facilitator/participant guide, job aids, etc.
- Develop storyboards with customers to establish a clear understanding of the learning objective for the development of computer-based training modules.
- Develop new CBTs and modify existing CBT templates to improve learning.
- Publish CBT training files and training documents.
- Development of training material in compliance with the Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
- A Master’s degree related to Computer and Information Technology Services and 10 years of experience or 8 years of additional experience is acceptable in lieu of a Master’s degree.
- Must be willing to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced support role.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, be dependable, outgoing and positive with excellent problem solving skills
- Knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting CBT’s into a learning management system (eLMS).
- Ability to create, test, and review new and existing course materials for the development of Computer-Based Training (CBT).
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, Articulate Storyline 360.
- Ability to Q&A test CBTs.
- Ability to work under a tight deadline.
