    • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
      • Supports technical and functional operations of Samaritan Health Services’ (SHS) eLearning platforms, including content assignment and reporting functions in learning management systems (LMS). Supports the development of noncomplex eLearning content and learning activities using industry standard programs. As a member of eLearning, ensures the highest standards of eLearning quality and service excellence to advance the SHS professional learning environment. Uses LMSs, software systems, databases, and other applicable platforms to provide efficient and effective eLearning support for SHS learners.
    • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
      • Learning & Development is a centralized education department serving a multi-site health system. The team specializes in organizational and staff development at all levels with a focus on workforce readiness, advancing clinical excellence, supporting learning & development, and building great teams and leaders.

    • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.
      • Two (2) years experience in a position of similar responsibility and complexity in LMS support, technical support, instructional design, and/or customer service required.
      • Experience in LMSs, web/cloud-based systems, databases, reporting/analytic, or other eLearning platforms required.
      • Experience and/or training in MS Office Suite, Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, or other instructional design tools required.
      • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.

      • Communication – Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
      • Time Management – Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.
      • Adaptability/Flexibility – Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to urgent situations and to adjust actions to offer the best possible solutions to our internal and external customers.
      • Computer Literacy – Knowledge and basic trouble shooting experience of electronic equipment, computer hardware and software. Ability to learn new applications, enter data, and manipulate and process information.
      • Project Management – Ability to work effectively independently or as part of an integrated team to achieve a goal. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
