Global Recruitment Platform Redrob Announces $4M in Seed Funding

-

Redrob, a global recruitment platform, has launched its Online Skill Test. The company is integrating artificial intelligence into every stage of the recruitment process, from candidate search to messaging and interviews. The startup also announced a $4 million seed investment, which closed in October.

McKinley Rice, the operator of the HRTech platform Redrob, aims to use Redrob Online Skills Tests to allow businesses to build and administer talent assessments to job applicants in as little as 30 seconds, allowing them to predict on-the-job performance without human bias.

Founded in 2018, Redrob is a global people discovery platform that uses AI to reorganize the world’s people data into a more universally understandable format to enable sales, networking, and recruitment worldwide. The platform provides comprehensive assessment tools for various industries, helping companies streamline hiring processes and identify the best candidates. It has over 200,000 users across the US, India, and South Korea.

Speaking about the development, Co-founder & CEO of Redrob, Felix Kim, said:

65% of the world’s population is online, yet so few businesses are truly global. A lack of contextual knowledge is the greatest obstacle to hiring and selling globally. For example, U.S. recruiters don’t know about the local Ivy League in India, while Indian salespeople don’t know much about local distributors in the U.S.

Following the fundraising, Redrob is expanding its online testing platform with ‘Redrob Global People Search, ‘ which uses AI to reorganize the world’s people data more globally and intelligibly, allowing for sales, networking, and recruitment.

In addition, Redrob plans to extend its Employer of Record (EOR) product line as more enterprises become globally distributed. Redrob Employer of Record enables businesses to skip outsourcing agencies and directly recruit personnel from countries such as India without the need to establish an office or manage payroll, allowing even small startups to emulate the 24/7 operations of the Fortune 500 and its global subsidiaries.
