    About the Role

    Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a full-time Organizational Learning Specialist to work hybrid out of our harborside corporate office in beautiful Bremerton, WA. The Organizational Learning Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and conducting on-going learning programs that support the growth and development of employees and the experience of our members.

    Salary Range: $25.90 – $38.84/hr depending on experience

    Bonus Target: 6% potential incentive of base pay

    Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM

    Grade: 8BC

    What you will do

    • Designs materials, courses, or programs based on analysis, including design of content, activities, assessments, and media selection.
    • Creates Salesforce-related learning materials and facilitates classroom trainings; mentors stakeholders on Salesforce.
    • Develops standalone or accompanying learning materials such as quick reference guides (QRGs), job aids, manuals, lesson plans, and resource materials needed to support learning objectives according to the selected modality (instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, standalone multi-media, or documentation). Utilizes appropriate software to meet learning objectives including Articulate Storyline, Microsoft Office, SnagIt, and other standard-of-the-industry software. Collaborates with team and internal clients during the development process to ensure content relevancy.
    • Implements training by launching and/or scheduling it in the KCU learning management system.
    • Conducts effective learning sessions through use of lectures, webinars, structured learning activities, assessments, and adult learning techniques. Coordinates learning room activities and ensures all necessary access, equipment, and training materials related to learning are provided.
    • Regularly evaluates training content and delivery to ensure continuous improvement, monitoring, tracking, and reporting as required to improve training or assist auditing.
    • Assists in researching and recommending outside vendors and instructors and in co-designing in-house courses with selected vendors.
    • Assists in researching and recommending in-house learning programs and projects, software, videos, and other learning materials.
    • Assists in monthly planning, budgeting, scheduling, and communication of in-house learning programs and monitoring expenses.
    • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of all Credit Union products and services, software programs, policies, and procedures for position. Presents and/or coordinates training updates to ensure employees’ skills are current.
    • Establishes and maintains constructive, cooperative, and collaborative internal working relationships. Represents management objectives in a positive and influential manner.

    Basic Qualifications

    • High-school diploma or GED
    • Associate degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of two years technical experience at a financial institution may be accepted in lieu of Associate degree
    • Two years of related experience in adult education which may include facilitating, designing, and developing training

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, related field, or equivalent experience
    • Previous experience using eLearning authoring and/or media development software
    • Two (2) years’ of experience utilizing eLearning platforms and practices and Learning Management Systems (LMSs)
    • Salesforce experience is highly desirable
    • Previous financial institution a plus
