    The Learning Consultant organizes and manages the execution of strategy in their assigned learning and development programs or functions. Under the direction of the Director of Learning & Development, this role will design, develop, and deliver programs targeted to all employees; this could include instructor led training, eLearning, as well as synchronous or asynchronous web enabled courses or Learning Management System (LMS) administration. The Learning Consultant will perform multiple high-level administrative functions in support of all company training functions.

    Functions

    • Design, develop, and curate content for assigned area which could include company-wide employee programs, leadership programs, or LMS.
    • May be assigned a report on a permanent or partial basis to coach, mentor, and to lead by example
    • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned functional area to include oversight of curricula (digital or instructor led) and content library.
    • Support L&D department programs using the learning management system, technology-enabled learning paths, curricula, assessments, and surveys.
    • Deliver learning programs in a variety of formats including instructor led, virtual instructor led, eLearning, and blended learning programs.
    • Assist with program coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring in the assigned areas.
    • Perform analysis of data on programs implemented and supported by this role.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University is required. The below years of experience may run concurrently:
    • 3-5 years of experience in designing and delivering soft skills employee development courses required.
    • 3-5 years of experience in LMS support or related required.
    • 2-4 years of experience and proven strong ability in navigating technical systems, to also include data analysis is required
    • Portfolio of courses delivered or designed for eLearning and web-based solutions is preferred for review.
    • Strong written and oral communication required
    • Ability to develop and support multiple courses for individuals in different stages of design or skill set
    • Familiarity with different learning platforms and strong ability to utilize other support systems (Microsoft Office Suite)

    Travel Requirements

    • This position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.
    • A passport is not required but recommended.
