Job Description
As an Instructional Designer with OMES you will enjoy:

Job Details
- Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
- Support the HCM Learning and Development Team.
- Salary up to: $69,000 based on education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Design training for programs and courses utilizing current learning concepts, instructional design methods, visual design methods, and training platforms available to support development, delivery, administration, and evaluation.
- Design within the industry-recognized Instructional Systems Design model, ADDIE.
- Design and develop graphics, audio, animations, video and written scripts for eLearning.
- Design presentations, facilitator guides, participant guides, materials and advertisements for training programs and courses.
- Perform industry research to assure accuracy of course material.
- Work closely with the director of internal training to verify training needs, design of content, storyboard materials, and timing of course development.
- Use evaluations for continuous improvement of design product, aligning with agency goal.
- Ensure the instructional integrity of lesson development projects through systematic design and clear writing of scripts, narratives, storyboards, and objective maps.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in instructional design, adult education, curriculum design, education or related field, and experience designing web-based training or e-learnings.
