    We are currently seeking a Instructional System Design – Hybrid to join our team in Quantico, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

    Job Summary:

    The Instructional System Designer (ISD) will apply adult learning theory, including the ADDIE model to Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate curriculum for the client. The ISD should be well trained and experienced in instructional systems design within all areas of the ADDIE model.

    The ISD is responsible for utilizing the ADDIE model to design course(s) or program(s), analyze training needs, conduct job task analyses, create meaningful learning objectives, map learning objectives to job tasks, suggest/select delivery systems, develop effective learning strategies, and conduct level 1, 2, and 3 evaluations. Instructional System Designers may be required to develop content for clients who are assigned to Unclassified and Classified environments.

    The ISDs shall be responsible to perform the following duties (non-exhaustive):

    • Utilize the ADDIE model to create curriculum
    • Identify training needs at different stages of career development
    • Analyze training needs and create terminal and enabling learning objects
    • Select learning strategies and delivery systems to best serve the client
    • Develop training content, implement training and conduct evaluations of the training
    • Assist in ensuring alignment between identified job tasks, learning objectives and assessment items
    • Participate in the curriculum validation and testing validation processes

    Basic Qualifications:

    • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline.
    • Must have 3 years of experience in one of the following:
      • Developing, writing, and editing lesson plans and instructor guides
      • Design and develop knowledge and performance-based assessments mapping back to learning objectives.
      • Design and develop eLearning modules using Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or similar architecture for Learning Management System (LMS) deployment
    • Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
