The eLearning Specialist is responsible for creating courses in Articulate and for developing courses.
- Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Learn Articulate.
- With direction, convert ILT to online Articulate courses
- Create new online courses using Articulate software
- Organize and maintain training files; convert some file documents to electronic files as required.
- Assist the Training Manager with special projects, as needed.
- Assists unit management and staff in problem solving, project planning, and development and execution of stated goals and objectives.
- Facilitate and organize efforts of different units of the company as they analyze, design, develop and implement new training services on the web based training learn center.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Word processing
- Design and development skills
- Ability to create, compose, and edit written training materials.
- Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Desire:
- 10 years of NDT experience.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Basic graphic generation skills.
- Support experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities of eLearning and/or instructor led training
- Comfortable providing narration to online courses.
- Willing to work with subject matter experts (SME’s) within the company to create online training courses that meet their requirements
- Maintain existing online courses (update/revise as needed)
