Discover Impactful Work: Jr. Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist supports the Sr. LMS Architect, and is primarily responsible for supporting the deployment, maintenance, and compliance monitoring of the division”s LMS. This global role requires the ability to provide outstanding end-user support and to work and communicate on various levels of the organization.

- Play a key support role in the LMS implementation project.
- Provide timely communication and support to users of the LMS, and content owners.
- Perform testing of content uploaded to the LMS to ensure functionality, quality, and an effective user experience.
- Coordinates day-to-day LMS functioning.
- Produces, analyzes and communicates periodic training compliance reports.
- Uploads in-house or external developed content to LMS compatible formats, crafts quizzes, and evaluations or surveys, as needed.
- Supports the communication/marketing of certain key trainings, including coordinating training workshops, aligning with MSD Quality Toolbox, and aligning related trainings across functions (EM University, NanoPorts, etc.).
- Supports training content owners with creation and implementation of training into LMS, and at times, assists with content creation and modification of LMS content.
- Builds and revises LMS process and support documentation for LMS users, managers, and admins.
- Ability to identify areas for improvements on processes and LMS behavior.
- Consistently adapts to change.
Education
- Typically requires and prefer bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or applicable functional area. Will consider confirmed equivalent work experience.
- System administrator training, preferably eQMS/LMS related.
- Background in instructional technology.
Experience
- Typically requires shown ability in a previous Systems Administrator role for electronic LMS, or similar capacity.
- Experience with day-to-day LMS support and performance monitoring.
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and SCORM format, to be further developed on the job.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Expertise in maintaining Learning Management Systems.
- Able to work independently with mentorship.
- Effective and persuasive communicator across the organization.
- Ability to protect confidential information.
- Proficient in MS Office software with an emphasis on Excel.
- Data analysis/reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization in a large company.
- Proficient in English.
