    Essential Duties

    • Assists with Cornerstone On Demand LMS administration and coordinates processes among all business units and functional training professionals,
    • Adheres to policies, systems or procedures for improvement; recommends appropriate changes to Administrator; works in conjunction with university technology resources to identify, evaluate and resolve issues.
    • Supports the maintenance of security roles/access; maintains data integrity rules and processes for the LMS including, but not limited to: course descriptions, course or class changes, and instructors
    • Verifies LMS functions including, but not limited to: course content, course approvals and evaluation processes to ensure completion of processes within established timeframes.
    • Assist administrator in creating and scheduling courses and classes; managing testing of modules prior to activation; maintaining all LMS instructor and department learning administrator course materials, processing course updates and monitoring user access for usage and ad hoc reporting requests.
    • Provides consultation on and maintenance of virtual learning, instructor-led training activities and blended learning programs.
    • Under director of the Administrator, identifies, researches, and resolves user questions/issues; investigates and resolves any data or system inconsistencies or discrepancies; coordinates diagnostic testing to correct performance problems.
    • Provides training and technical support to users, supervisors, instructors and others interacting with the LMS to ensure understanding/awareness of system capabilities.
    • Creates, generates and distributes a variety of standard and custom/ad-hoc reports to provide information regarding LMS performance against objectives/goals.
    • Utilizes mechanisms which identify employee training requirements and qualification status; creates and updates training requirements in the LMS.
    • Remains abreast of LMS directions, initiatives and trends within scope of expertise to provide ideas, guidance and recommendations.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Information Technology or related field AND one (1) years’ experience in database management, systems configuration, e-learning, course authoring software; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

    Desired Qualifications

    Experience with Cornerstone on Demand learning management system. Experience with multimedia and e-learning tools such as Captivate, Articulate Pro, Storyline and/or PowerPoint; with expertise in e-learning authoring tool functionality.

    • Knowledge of Cornerstone On Demand or similar LMS technology sufficient to answer customer questions about use, to train users and other lower level administrators, and to solve a wide variety of troubleshooting problems.
    • Knowledge of online learning and web-based applications
    • Knowledge of process improvement methods and approaches.
    • Knowledge of technology administration concepts, principles, methods and best practices including security/permission standards.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the practices, methods and techniques of database administration, security/permission standards.
    • Knowledge of the principles of exemplary customer service demonstrated through actively listening, acknowledging, and responding to every inquiry; taking ownership and resolving each concern or problem as appropriate; exhibiting professionalism and expertise in every interaction and engaging in professional development to meet expectations for service excellence.
    • Skill in identifying and resolving problems with software products.
    • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
    • Skill in administration of diverse systems in a complex, heterogeneous distributed environment
    • Skill in fostering cooperative work-teams by developing mutually beneficial relationships

    • Ability to assume responsibility and exercise good judgment in making decisions within scope of authority, including maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Ability to work effectively and accurately in an environment subject to requirements to complete multiple tasks and projects within established timeframes

    Working Environment

    Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse.
    Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts
    Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions
