    The position:
    We are seeking an Sr. L&D Program manager to redefine how we design and deliver curated, impactful learning experiences to our maintenance associates and leaders at RPM Living. This role will define the learning paths for our maintenance teams including safety and compliance training, onboarding, upskilling, and reinforcement. The Sr. L&D Program Manager will lead a small team of instructional designers and learning specialists, who deliver and maintain the programming. This role will have strong project and stakeholder management skills to align with our business partners and direct team on key priorities ensuring we are delivering on-time, relevant, and high-impact programming. They will need to work collaboratively with Maintenance and Risk leaders to ensure the learning is aligned to business objectives and relevant to the audience.

    Responsibilities:

    • We are seeking a Senior L&D Program manager to redefine how we design and deliver curated, impactful learning experiences for maintenance teams; integrating blended learning methodologies to deliver learning a geographically dispersed network of employees. This includes onboarding, safety, compliance, upskilling, reinforcement, and new process deployment.
    • Lead a small team (2-3) of Instructional Designers and Learning Specialists who will be responsible for the design and deployment of training programs. This hands-on leader will need to invest in their performance, upskilling, and career development.
    • Lead and execute maintenance training, technical skills, safety, compliance. This role will be expected to create interactive learning experiences, including on-demand micro-learning. Topics include but not limited to HVAC, CPO, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, paint and drywall.
    • Oversee and maintain OSHA compliance training including Asbestos.
    • Design experiential, on-the-job learning experience at scale. Determine a scalable program to ensure maintenance training has hands-on application.
    • Define an evaluation matrix to decide what content should be designed in-house or outsourced.
    • Execute a train-the-trainer program to reach our geographically dispersed network of employees
    • Collaborate with Operations and support teams to ensure the learning programming is aligned with business priorities, relevant, and filling skill gaps.
    • Prioritize adhoc, on-site training requests utilizing a framework that drives ROI.
    • Analyze learning success: instill standards for tracking, reporting, and improving training
    • Travel: up to 50%

    Qualifications:

    • Experienced Leader- your proven experience of effectively leading teams- setting clear expectations, creating role clarity and scope, managing performance, fostering development.
    • Experience with designing learning experience for deskless positions, manual intensive roles, and compliance and safety training. Experience maintenance training preferred.
    • Execution Oriented- you have a strong ability to make a plan come to life with a creative approach quickly.
    • Ability to Think at Scale- you know what goes into an effective change management and scaling plan, and know how to bring programming to geographically dispersed locations and role types.
    • Operationally Minded- you have experience working with employees both inside and outside the corporate setting- industries including multi-family, hospitality, supply chain, or retail are a plus!
    • Adult Learning Expert- you have a deep understanding of adult learning principles, and know how to apply them through your learning solutions. You’ve developed learning programs across all modalities including elearning, on-the-job, instructor-led, virtual training, workshops. Ability to design microlearnings in Articulate/Storyline 360 is a plus.
    • Project & Stakeholder Management: you have a strong ability to organize a crossfunctional plan come to life with a creative approach and align with stakeholders quickly; experience with Agile frameworks is preferred.
