Design and develop interactive eLearning modules, incorporating multimedia elements, assessments, simulations, and scenarios to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.

Create digital learning resources, such as infographics, interactive PDFs, job aids, and other supplementary materials to support various learning initiatives.

Utilize video editing and creation skills to produce high-quality, visually appealing training videos and multimedia content that effectively convey complex concepts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of learning content and resources into our learning management system (LMS) or other relevant platforms.

Advocate and encourage associates to access learning on our internal Learning Management System (LMS) and SharePoint Pages.

Research and discover solutions to complex learning delivery problems by utilizing Workday Learning (LMS).

Stay current with learning industry trends to adopt new modalities such as social learning, mobile delivery, and other learning methods.

Lead and mentor junior members of the learning experience design team, providing guidance, feedback, and support in their professional growth.

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia Design or a minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional or learning experience design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

Strong ability to conceptualize, design, and create visually appealing digital learning resources that enhance learning outcomes.

Strong organizational and project management skills to meet multiple priorities and deadlines.

Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences. Work with cross functional partners to identify information and behavioral change needs and suggest appropriate learning methods to address the organizational need that includes key performance indicators (KPI) for success measurement. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to improve processes and exercise judgment to work independently.

Demonstrated expertise in video editing and creation using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia, or similar tools.

Experience using eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar authoring tools.

Experience applying UI/UX principles to learning design to create user-friendly and engaging learning interfaces.

Knowledge of e-learning frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM, and CCAF.
-
Knowledge and use of eLearning technical standards (SCORM, AICC).

Please note that this job position entails in-person office requirements for a minimum of 3 days per week: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, located at Essex’s corporate offices in Irvine, Woodland Hills, San Mateo, and Bellevue.

The salary range for this position is $85,000.00 – $128,000.00 per year. New hires generally start between $85,000.00 – $107,000.00 per year. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.
This role is also eligible to participate in Essex’s discretionary Annual Bonus program that is commensurate with the level of the position.
