    VisionCor, a premier firm working with Learning and Development consultants, is currently searching for an Instructional Designer for a client in St. Louis, MO. If you have five plus years of experience in Instructional Design, we are looking for you! Successful candidates for this role will demonstrate the ability to drive business objectives through engaging learning activities and operate in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas and information to different audiences and levels is required. Finance background preferred. This is a hybrid position.

    Responsibilities

    • Creating engaging, multi-modal eLearning programs using a variety of delivery and instructional methods that align to course objectives and performance outcomes.
    • Evaluating and revising existing training materials to create a cohesive, branded learning experience
    • Creating new materials for an engaging learning experience for synchronous and asynchronous courses.
    • Working with stakeholders to identify needs
    • Analyzing learning needs and strategy
    • Designing solutions to address those needs, such as curating content, course development, pathway design, plan design, survey design, assessment, and skill coach.
    • Collaborating with key stakeholders and subject-matter experts to define scope of learning experiences, clarify learning objectives, timeline, and projected outcomes.
    • Designing and developing excellent learning solutions using methodologies such as ADDIE or Agile to create learning activities that are engaging, activity-based, and results-oriented.
    • Creating solutions that satisfy the needs of a diverse set of learners through a variety of modalities.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer with full ADDIE model experience
    • 4-year degree in business or related field, Master’s preferred
    • Strong curriculum development skills, work samples required
    • Expertise with authoring tools such as Storyline, Captivate and Rise
    • 2+ years experience in Graphic Design
    • Knowledge of training and development practice and methods, including needs assessment and analysis of existing training to provide recommendations
    • Attention to detail and quick turnaround with documentation and presentation materials
    • Experience using virtual tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) to facilitate feedback sessions and presentations
    • Experience developing and delivering instructor-led (ILT) or virtual-led training (VILT)
    • Knowledge of adult learning theory and established industry models of evaluation
    • Strong communication skills, organizational skills and team player

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
