    ES Business Winning (BW) seeks an individual with the skills, knowledge and ability to lead the development and implementation of all Business Development (BD) learning & development (L&D) activities as a Business Winning team member. The ES Business Winning organization supports Business Development, Program Management Capture Leaders, Engineering and Supply Chain Leads responsible for capturing new business across the ES sector.

    The ES BW L&D Lead will be responsible for all aspects of ES BD L&D. You will bring innovative and top-quality training and development to realization and implementation.

    Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Partner with Business Winning leadership to package capture best practices and skill building activities into existing and new L&D classroom/hybrid/virtual events and eLearning.
    • Manage and mature BAE Systems’ capture leader development program.
    • Grow L&D course content through identification and recruitment of subject matter experts, both internal and external.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and presenters to develop and/or update course syllabuses and instructional outlines.
    • Communicate and coordinate L&D opportunities across organizations and sectors, primarily via Sharepoint and email.
    • Course catalog development, course scheduling, registration and course evaluation analysis and reporting.
    • Manage L&D course instances and participants within the BAE Systems learning management system.
    • Maintain course materials libraries including video and audio recordings and eLearning modules.
    • Oversight and assistance of course delivery in classroom, hybrid and/or virtual settings in New Hampshire and BAE Systems facilities throughout the United States. (some travel will be required)
    • Budget planning and finance management for L&D activities including preparing reports, proposals, statements of work, internal billing, purchase orders and payment requisitions.
    • Assist the Business Winning team to develop and execute our annual internal BD Conference.
    • Direct report (supervisory) responsibilities.

    Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Learning or Instructional Design or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience developing curriculum, instructional materials, training requirements and plans.
    • Experience assessing internal customer needs and skills then application in course refinement, development and delivery.
    • Experience analyzing and researching organizational L&D structure, expectations, resources, learning needs & gaps.
    • Experience analyzing and researching L&D infrastructure, software, virtual and hybrid technology.
    • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts to a diverse group.
    • Ability to collaborate with team members/working groups to identify best solutions and new ideas for innovative content and delivery.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat Pro and eLearning development software.

    Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    • Experience with Sharepoint and web content development and design.
    • Video editing experience.
    • Master’s degree in Learning or Instructional Design, or related field.
    • Experience in personnel and program management.
    • Experience working on Federal or DoD programs.
    • Experience as a supervisor on government contracts.
    • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
