Williams Consulting, LLC is seeking a candidate to join our growing team as a Trainer/Instructional Designer who can work onsite in our Catonsville, MD or Atlanta, GA office. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:30pm-5:00pm.

Description
Williams Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Trainer/Instructional Designer to design, publish and maintain high-quality on-line learning modules and storyboard to support federal clients, stakeholders, community-based organizations and state and local government training requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content.
- Develop web-based training programs, webinars, lessons, courses, quizzes and assessments.
- Develop new innovative storyboards and update existing storyboards and guidance documentation.
- Maintain and/or redesign existing training materials and develop new training materials using Learning Management Software
- Provide support for the development of talking points, meeting materials, announcements, stakeholder engagement activities, health communication support, dissemination support, webinars and training module content development, and other materials as needed.
- Collaborate with multiple subject matter experts and stakeholders to plan and develop training.
- Synthesize information from multiple data sources to produce and disseminate actionable recommendations, materials, presentations, and reports.
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product.
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in health communications, information technology, public health, or a related field
- Must be a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
- 5 + years of experience in training development, with strong community-based, federal, and state government focus
- Lesson planning and curriculum skills
- Experienced in use of Lectora eLearning Authoring Tool or similar eLearning software
- Strong understanding of adult learning models
- Visual design and artistic talents
- A good understanding of laws surrounding web accessibility including section 508
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, prioritization, and quality of work
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and work on a variety of tasks with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
- Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, and Visio skills
- Background investigation required
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- HUBZone candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Federal contracting experience preferred
Working Conditions and Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Standing, sitting, squatting, and other normal office-related physical activities required. Must be able to sit and read computer screens for extended periods.
