    The Instructional Designer works collaboratively with internal business partners to assess needs, coordinate, design, develop, manage interactive learning solutions, and provide performance coaching in support of the overall strategy and goals of the Technical Training Team. Learning interactions will focus on competencies such as financial acumen, systems navigation, technical capabilities and high-level interpretation of system data. This position plays a key role in project managing, developing, deploying and supporting strategic training initiatives and product enhancements throughout multiple organizations, including Pricing and Financial Operations, Sales, Sales Enablement, and Account Management.

    Scope of Job

    Identifies and assesses future and current training needs and drives suitable training initiatives while obtaining stakeholder support for imperative training initiatives.

    Lead cross-functional business areas on large-scale projects in the design and development of end-user training assets that accurately and effectively reflects the system/process.

    Recommends method for delivery such as instructor-led, eLearning, blended, or other media taking into account audience, business needs, and requirements.

    Breaks down complex information and then effectively communicates it using simple language audiences can understand and act on.

    Project manages the production of and alignment between controlled documentation, training and communication on large system and process improvement initiatives.

    Supports the quality review process, providing input into the coaching and calibration of learning resources.

    Builds and maintains effective partnerships with internal business partners through needs assessments and discussions to proactively identify issues that impact systems training needs from both a competency and knowledge base.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Instruction Design, Performance Coaching, Training, Business Administration or related field OR high school diploma with at least five years’ experience in a Training & Organization Development role required. Master’s degree in Organization Development, Performance Coaching, Instructional Design or related field a plus.
    Minimum of 3+ years of training experience, instructional design role, and learning consultant.
    Systems Knowledge of PSCRF (Pricing Set Up and Contract Request Form), Polaris, Salesforce, APTTUS) preferred but not required.
    Excellent verbal, written, presentation, organizational, and analytical skills required.
    Excellent Project management experience and attention to detail required.
    Advanced interviewing and listening skills to gather necessary content from multiple resources.
    Extensive experience in conducting needs analysis and operations applications functionality required.
    Strong performance coaching skills desired.
    Advanced knowledge of Adobe Captivate and Camtasia are preferred.
    Team player, able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and willing to contribute when help is needed outside of primary job responsibilities.
    Ability to learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions with minimal supervision.
    Creative thinker with innovative spirit. Ability to look for new and better ways to develop content/ perform tasks. Effectively execute on new methods, when appropriate.
