Sr. Instructional Designer Contract Job at Clarity Consultants

Our client, a provider of learning products to accelerate career growth in leadership, problem solving, presentations skills and much more, is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Instructional Design Consultant with deep knowledge in the area of effective adult learning.

In this role, you will review existing learning products and work with the internal team to provide thought leadership and propose, vet, and coalesce ideas to enhance the existing products. Deliverables will include Roadmaps to implement improvements including Storyboards for hybrid training. The client will be seeking interactivity in the training revamp as well as knowledge checks.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Instructional Technologies or Education preferred with excellent knowledge of various adult learning theories and principles and current practices for effective learning
• 15+ years’ experience in Instructional Design & Development of ILT, vILT and eLearning
• Ability to review existing programs, provide guidance, and create effective Roadmap with Storyboards
• Must offer a consultative approach and be a collaborative team player who is convincing and firm in holding to recommendations on the right path forward
• Experience within corporate learning environments specifically with Learning applications
• Product Education experience a plus
• Consultant must provide their own laptop (client will provide licenses if needed)
• Background Check and Drug Screening required for chosen consultant

Interviews: 4/6 through 4/10.
Start: Targeting a 4/17 or 4/24 start.
Duration: ~2 months (through 6/30).
Hours: 25 hours per week (could increase at times). Consultant available as needed during standard EST business hours (with flexibility).
Location: Client located in Ipswich, MA. Preference is consultant also located in EST.
Travel: Not required but a plus if able to have at least one onsite meeting in Ipswich, MA.
