Position Description
As the Learning Specialist you will design and develop creative, learner-centered, performance-based training courses and materials in multiple modalities that may include: interactive eLearning modules, infographics and job aids. You will also be responsible for the effective administration and coordination of ATI’s learning and development programs.

This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.
Essential Functions
Under guidance create engaging learner-centered and performance-based training courses and materials using multiple modalities that may include: eLearning, video, micro-learnings, job aids, etc.
- Assist Director of Learning and Professional Development department in conducting needs assessments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop learning solutions that meet the target audience’s needs.
- Apply adult learning theory to create meaningful learning experiences that drive real and sustainable results (for new and existing training).
- Assist the Learning and Professional Development Director decide on the criteria used to assess learner’s knowledge and/or performance.
- Design and develop online learning including script writing, story boarding, and editing.
- Maintain a strong interaction with end users to review and revise materials.
- Monitor and track training effectiveness.
Coordinate and administer ATI’s learning programs, systems, tools, and initiatives.
- Performs the operations of ATI’s Onboarding program to include planning, coordination, and administration.
- Performs administrative duties associated with Power Hour and training events and programs.
- Administer LinkedIn Learning account for ATI.
- Assists in maintaining ATI’s Learning Management System.
- Assist Learning and Professional Development team in managing and maintaining learning content up to date.
- Prepares learning reports.
- Provides administrative support to the Learning & Professional Development department, as needed.
- Maintains and manages training events and calendar.
- Ensures learning content is up to date.
- Assists with training and professional development program logistics.
- Perform additional responsibilities, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, technical writing/communication or instructional design; or one-to-two year’s related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a contagious and positive work ethic, inspires others, and embodies ATI’s core values of integrity, passion, teamwork, excellence and agility.
- Experience developing eLearning content.
- Ability to write instructional text, technical documentation and video scripts.
- Demonstrated commitment to improve work processes related to training.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to obtain results by working with people at all levels within an organization.
- Knowledge or experience with learning and/or content management systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with a keen eye for minute details.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility/Adaptability – Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
- Teamwork- Reaches out to subject matter experts and cooperates with managers to establish an overall collaborative working environment.
- Experience working with Articulate 360 suite, Photoshop, video editing and other learning technologies is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen by birth or naturalization, or a green card lawful U.S. permanent resident, or a political asylum in the U.S. Individual must meet the definition of a U.S. person upon hire due to the risk assessment of this position

Physical Requirements
Regular physical activity to include walking, bending, stooping, reaching, standing and prolonged sitting.
Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax, and other office equipment.
Must be able to occasionally move/lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
