Sun Auto Tire & Service is a fast growing, top-10 independent tire dealer in the US, with 4 2 0+ locations operating under multiple brands. We are a leading provider of vehicle aftermarket tires and repair services and are increasing our footprint rapidly through both organic growth and acquisitions. This role is an excellent opportunity to work with an awesome Training and Develop and IT Team in a contract role with the potential to convert to a long-term salaried position.
Overview:
This individual will be responsible for the overall ownership of the Learning Management System, giving team member’s access to learning when, where and how they need it. Working with the training and development team and other team resources, the administrator will ensure proper setup and system support for complex learning activities within the system. Participate in keeping LMS requirements current and aligned to company standards and processes. Lead regular group meetings to ensure a coordinated and consistent system and best practices. Provide day to day user support as well as training, troubleshooting, managing change control, content/library, and system maintenance. Cornerstone On-Demand experience is a must.
Position Focus:
Acts as the lead administrator and organizational point-of-contact for the Learning Management System (LMS) .
Performs administrative tasks in the system, including (but not limited to): course assignments and registrations, system configuration updates, end-user assistance , security profiles and escalation management.
Conducts functional testing of learning management system features and content.
Proactively identifies system improvements to enhance end-user experience or administrative efficiency.
Maintains access of all learning management system profile permissions throughout the organization.
Aligns decision-making with team strategic goals and maintains system integrity and consistency.
Tracks new features and supports implementation of system upgrades.
Assists in creating and maintaining procedural documentation and standard operating procedures related to system administration and end-user functionality .
Uses LMS reporting to create and communicate key metrics .
Collaborates with and delegates tasks to other HR Team Members as needed.
Works collaboratively with the IT on technical configurations with impact to other HR systems/infrastructure.
Consults with and provides guidance to instructional designers and business partners on best practices related to content delivery, management, and maintenance.
Understands developing trends in learning and development industry, specifically as it relates to learning technology, and shares with the team.
Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
Maintain up to date content in the system.
Build complex curriculum structures within the Learning Management System (blended learning).
Update content

Requirements:
eLearning Development and Programming Experience Required
Significant Cornerstone On-Demand LMS experienc e
3 + years of experience in a role which administered a learning management system
Experience in implementing a learning management system
Experience in the Retail industry
3+ years in a supervisory role
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Equivalent
Experience in automotive or related industry a plus
