Role description
PulseLearning is embarking on a new growth phase. We are looking for seasoned Technical Curriculum Developer/Instructional Designer for upcoming projects. You will be joining a truly dynamic and driven group of professionals in an internationally recognized brand that provides award-winning, world-class products and services.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating performance-focused training content that engages learners and meets identified needs. You will be required to develop outstanding learning tools, performance support aids, practice tests, online tutorials, and other materials ready for localization and deployment in international locations.
Role responsibilities
- Design and develop training materials in all modalities, including ILT, eLearning, video scripts, and assessments such as tests and quizzes.
- Use data and metrics to determine and drive improvements, working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to create effective training materials.
- Develop real-world, scenario-based labs to reinforce learning objectives for courseware.
- Ensure consistency across all materials by developing templates and enforcing style guides.
- Stay up to date on technology advancements and changes in the industry.
Required education and certification.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, communication, education, or a related field.
Required skills and experience
- 2+ years prior experience supporting the design, deployment, and operation of internet-scale applications.
- 2+ yrs. domain expertise in one or more of the following: data analytics, machine learning, data platforms, or various cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with eLearning development tools such as Captivate, Articulate Storyline, HTML/CSS/JS, Camtasia, GoAnimate, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical degree (e.g. Computer Science) or 4 years’ relevant work experience.
- Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with learners and outcomes.
- Experience with Articulate Storyline and Learning Management Systems.
- Additional specialties like AI/ML or CI/CD are a plus.
- Demonstrated adult learning implementation and experience driving performance through impactful training.
