The Manager, Enterprise Learning & Development will have a strong track record of working with and training the Operation Managers, Quality Managers and Training Reps at all the sites globally as well as the HR Learning and Development Center of Excellence to assist them in automating and leveraging an on-line LMS. This includes documenting and standardization of Learning Development Plans (LDPs), creating roles, converting PPTs and other formats to online courses or certifications, and assisting in setting up remote locations on the Enterprise LMS platform.
Position Responsibilities – works with HR Technology Leader, Process Owners, IT and:
- Documents and improves processes and business requirements
- Drives and participates on a variety of projects, upgrades, implementations
- Identifies and prioritizes with stakeholder’s opportunities and solutions for automations
- Creates roadmaps, and works with IT and Vendors and manages upgrades, patches
- Coaches and trains end users
- Works with end users on resolving issues, misunderstandings, need for assistance
- Work accurately within tight timelines and interact collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to connect to the broader strategy
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills that can identify and assess moderately complex issues and opportunities that support the business
- Solid decision making skills; seeking guidance and support on more challenging issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and ability to interact within all levels of the organization
Position Requirements:
- Five or more years’ experience planning, designing, developing, coordinating, and delivering learning and development programs, including an eLearning environment
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilitating training / learning sessions for medium to large size groups
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Technology, HR, Learning or equivalent experience
- Expertise with LMS systems, capabilities and processes
- Proficient with Articulate 360 suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and general computer skills essential
Preferred Characteristics:
- Certificate in Adult Education (CAE, CACE) is considered an asset
- Experience in Aviation an asset
- Expertise and experience in working with content owners in building LDPs across the organization
- Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and at all levels (for training the trainer)
- Excellent project management, planning and organizing skills, with the proven ability to prioritize, handle multiple assignments
