As part of the Optum Enterprise Training team, you will develop curricula for front-line staff who are supporting our consumers, providers and payers. A typical curriculum will have a blended approach utilizing instructor-led and self-paced learning content.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday to Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 08:00am – 05:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Discovery & Customer Experience Management
- Collaborate and consult with subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Communicate proactively to provide project status updates to supervisor and SMEs
- Project Management
- Create project plan and ensure your tasks are delivered on schedule and within scope
- Manage project within established scope, timeline and quality standards
- Design & Development
- Work with project manager or supervisor to design learning and communication approaches
- Design and develop self-paced learning, instructor-led and eLearning
- Implementation Support & Measurement
- Participate in internal continuous improvement efforts by offering ideas and creative solutions to improve policies, processes, and tools

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 3+ years of experience in Instructional Design, Training, Modern Learning concepts and application
- Intermediate Experience working with Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
- 1+ years of Baseline Project Management experience
- SharePoint experience
- WebEx experience
- Experience designing and developing training for adults within a corporate environment
- Healthcare experience
- Experience developing performance-based training content at a faster-than-industry pace
