HRS Consulting, Inc. is hiring eLearning Developers to support a program with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Qualified candidates will have expertise developing eLearning products, experience using Articulate Storyline 360, and experience working with 508 accessibility requirements. Prior experience supporting VA or VHA training development is a plus. Current VA Suitability (PIV card) is preferred.
Location Note: This position is supporting a program based in the Washington, DC area. Qualified candidates with remote work interests from a U.S. based location and ability to travel may be considered.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support VA training development and distribution activities

Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders to develop engaging training products including eLearning and multi-module trainings.

Ensure compliance for Section 508 compliance requirements.

Conduct reviews and end-to-end analysis of training processes and content development for ongoing process improvements.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Current Public Trust or eligibility to obtain VA suitability approval; current VA credentials preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required

3+ years of experience with adult learning developing training courses and multi-module courses (eLearning, ILT, hybrid)

Experience working in a client environment and directly with clients/stakeholders

Understanding of full ISD process working with client to gather requirements and bring creativity and design to deliver training products

Experience conducting reviews and end-to-end analysis of training processes and content development for ongoing process improvements

Experience meeting compliance for Section 508 certification and distribution

Experience designing and developing using Articulate Storyline 360

Experience with Captivate and/or Camtasia

Experience using SharePoint to share and manage training content

Experience with Adobe Connect training webinars
- Expertise in conducting end-to-end reviews and determining methods of improvement of training processes and content development for ongoing process improvements
- Ability to clearly communicate and exchange information with co-workers, teammates, stakeholders, and other personnel, as required
- Proficiency working across the Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- This job operates in a professional office environment with prolonged periods sitting at a desk, attending meetings, and using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and video teleconferencing equipment.
- This is a largely sedentary role; however, the ability to move office items such as files, laptop/computer equipment, meeting materials, and other work supplies may require carrying and lifting items up to 15 pounds at times.
- Business travel may be required.
