As a Learning Consultant, you will develop, implement and evaluate training and education programs for clients to promote growth, development and adoption. You will consult with and coordinate between Cerner and client project leaders to identify capability gaps impacting current and future business strategies and develop appropriate learning curriculum to meet business needs including process design and solution adoption best practices to address gaps in motivation and ability. You will be responsible for conducting training and classroom-based coaching onsite and in virtual environments that build motivation and ability. In addition, your responsibilities will include preparing lesson plans including methods, materials and documentation to be presented as well as revise, modify and develop course content to address current solution features, functions and workflow to address client needs. Finally, you will evaluate learning solution effectiveness using best practice methodologies aligned with performance and business outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
    • At least 1 year of learning/adult education, project/program management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing of HCIT solution work experience
    • At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
      • Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Education, Health Care, Marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience with eLearning tools (Camtasia and Captivate)
  • At least 1 year of education design work experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in Cerner Millennium

Expectations

  • Must reside in or around the Prescott, AZ area
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
