Collaborate with instructors to design, develop, and implement credit and non-credit online courses.

Ability to recognize, suggest, and implement improvements for online courses to meet the Quality Matters rubric standards.

Develop course outlines, documentation, assessment strategies, and maintain instructional design direction and development through all project phases.

Work well without direct supervision as well as in team environments.

Provide direction and support in content development to faculty, analyze needs, tasks, learning environment, and to develop learning objectives and requirements.

Assisting with the development of online courses that align with high quality course standards

Supporting faculty in Canvas LMS with course design, instructional content development and quality assurance, including accessibility and copyright compliance.

Employee Educational Scholarship Program (EESP) for eligible Staff/Faculty – Tuition assistance after 6 months of full-time employment. For in-unit faculty, the EESP program may be extended to spouses and dependent children (eligibility rules apply).
A master’s degree from an accredited institution in Education, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design or other related field; or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Education, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design or other related field and two years of appropriate experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
