We are looking for someone who loves technology. That enjoys strategizing, consulting, and being the subject matter expert for software and systems. To be successful as a Learning Systems Administrator, you must have 5+ years of experience managing/administering learning systems. A bonus would be experience with eLearning authoring software, SCORM, AICC and other learning development technologies.
As a Learning Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the functional system administration and operational support of learning systems and integrated platforms to enable user-experience centered learning across McKinstry. You will serve as the primary functional lead and subject matter expert, overseeing the design, development, implementation, integration, delivery, and maintenance of our learning systems to ensure uninterrupted operations and access for our end users.
In partnership with the Talent Development team, this position will also play a key role in future transitions to other learning management systems, partnering closely with internal stakeholders.
What we would like to see from you:
- 5+ years of experience in maintaining and managing multiple learning systems that supports online, hybrid and blended instruction.
- 2-4 years of work experience managing/administering an LMS.
- Experience transitioning learning management system platforms (preferred).
- Familiarity with eLearning authoring software, SCORM, AICC and learning development technologies
- Strong project management, analytical and communication skills; ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while learning new technologies quickly.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and administrative skills, including the demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage simultaneous projects
- Strong presentation skills combined with a consultative mindset and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms.
- Develops strong relationships in all organizations and promotes company culture and values.
- Demonstrated track record of being proactive and creative in problem solving.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel (e.g.: v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
