Position Summary:
The eLearning Specialist works in conjunction with staff from the contracting state agency, TRC staff and relevant stakeholders to develop and design eLearning modules/courses, multimedia presentations, and computer-assisted learning systems.
Minimum Education:
Bachelors degree in a related field required.
Minimum Experience:
Two years of related experience required.
Desirable proficiencies in LMS platforms such as Moodle, Graphic Design, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Visual Studio, Captivate, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office. Audio/Video Production, Audio/Video Editing Software (Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc),

- Familiarity with instructional design standards, adult learning techniques, and Learning Management Systems (specifically Moodle).
- Understand the fundamentals of designing learning modules.
- Knowledge of principles and concepts for providing excellent customer service.
- English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language to include the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.

Special Instructions Summary:
The Training Resource Center (TRC) provides Administrative and Training Support Services to the Department for Community Based Services. The funding is in whole or part from federal, CHFS or other state funds and subject to annual renewal. This is a contract EKU position based in Richmond. Remote work is a possibility.
