    Job Description

    What is the opportunity?

    The Senior Training & Development Consultant position plays an integral role to the Field Advancement team. The team delivers learning opportunities for field leadership, financial advisors, and associates in both virtual and in-person settings—this position is focused on delivering eLearning. This position will consult with internal partners and product owners to develop online learning modules via multiple modalities. This includes, but is not limited to, project intake, design and mode of delivery consultation, course development, and course deployment to learners. The Senior Training & Development Consultant also plays a critical role in understanding and representing the perspective and needs of our field audience to our internal partners/product owners to ensure there is balance throughout the year regarding the amount of time we are asking each individual to spend on training.

     

    What will you do?

    • Development, delivery and project management of training for strategic initiatives and programs
    • LMS administration, coordination, and reporting
    • Strategic Alignment: work with internal partners to ensure alignment of courses with overall firm strategy
    • Create and maintain training program pages on intranet site and other internal communications

     

    What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have

    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) with 8+ years in an instructional design role
    • 8+ years financial services experience as well as program or project management experience
    • 2+ years designing and developing engaging eLearning (e.g., Articulate 360 including Storyline and Rise)
    • Proven dedication to and focus on client service with strong project management and organizational skills
    • Strong ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs, and take ownership
