    CONTRACT ROLE OPPORTUNITY FOR WORKDAY TRAINERS (Remote, anywhere in U.S.)

    Seeking Two Experienced Professional Trainers for Workday Financials Implementation in various U.S. offices

    Contract timeline:

    Approx. October 2022 – March 2023 (6 months), with possible extension

    Program/Team Overview:
    o Client is a dynamic, fast-paced global communications company
    o Program is enterprise-wide Workday implementation of Financials, HCM, and the (newer) PSA module

    Why we’re hiring:

    Our Client is on a multi-year transformation journey to modernize finance, operations and people processes and systems across their network of companies. Our Trainers are responsible for supporting the successful execution of the Workday training strategy and delivering end-user training to the next wave of operating companies. Our Workday Financials Trainers will develop training content, deliver end user training, and create job aids and support materials in conjunction with the Workday implementation partner. In advance of training delivery, Trainers will support the change management team with training planning and logistics management.

    What you’ll need:

    • In-depth Workday Financials training development and delivery experience, specifically in Procure to Pay, Business Assets, Capital Projects, and/or Financial Accounting modules
    • Ability to design and develop training materials in multiple formats, such as eLearning, video, simulations, and print documentation
    • Ability to organize work into actionable plans, projects and committed time frames within a large, complex Transformation with multiple stakeholder groups
    • Proven ability to effectively communicate functional, operational, and technical concepts to a diverse, global audience; bi-lingual candidates are a plus
    • Working knowledge of organizational Change management methods and tools, especially related to technology system end user proficiency, utilization, and adoption techniques and measures
    • Business knowledge in Finance/Accounting

    Plusses:

    o Strong instructional design technology skills/technologies a plus (Camtasia, Articulate, etc.)

    o Data staging in Workday

    o Training strategy and planning skills

    o Experience with multiple Workday applications

    o Experience training users on other large-scale ERP implementations with similar modules as Workday

    o Organizational Change Management theory and application skills

    o Certified Workday Trainer

    Additional Job Logistics/Requirements:
    o Full-time opportunity

    o Start date is ASAP after 2-3 weeks of contracting and onboarding

    o Working remotely on U.S. time zone(s)

    o Possibility for some intermittent travel as client requests it

    o End user training will be virtual, live instructor led training sessions using MS Teams

    o Trainers will also support post-training office hours for users

    – Criminal history background check required by client, as allowed by local law/regulation

    What you’ll be doing:

    Training Plan and Development

    · Develop course deliverables such as classroom slides, instructors’ facilitation guides, training guides, procedural documentation, e-learning courses, classroom exercises, in-system help text, etc.

    · Develop learning activities within the courses such as exercises, knowledge-checks, system demos, etc. that employ innovative approaches to learning

    • Ensure the training needs of all stakeholders are addressed and make recommendations for additional learning opportunities to increase Workday Financials end users’ proficiency, utilization, and adoption

    Training Delivery

    • Prepare training materials in advance of sessions; develop proficiency in the Client’s unique implementation and business attributes
    • Work with training coordinator to plan/execute training logistics as necessary
    • Develop data staging approach and stage data as required
    • Use multiple classroom technologies while delivering training, including electronic training material, remote conferencing tools, interactive display screens, and audio/visual equipment
    • Lead training sessions in Procure to Pay, Business Assets, Capital Projects, and Financial Accounting modules and provide end users with necessary support throughout training delivery
    • Manage and track attendance and follow up with the change management team to communicate details of session attendance and engagement
    • Monitor/gauge training effectiveness and work with Change/Training team to refine training as necessary
    • Train new trainers

    Pay: $80.00 – $95.00 per hour
