Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has an opportunity for a full time, non-exempt eLearning Developer I in our office located in Virginia. Are you looking for an opportunity to help modernize government training and learning strategy across digital transformations to increase mission focus? You will use your expertise in learning strategy and instructional design to examine complex organizations through an innovation perspective and make recommendations for improving learning practices and redesigning training. You will act as a liaison to clients, working to help them implement learning strategies. You will be expected to operate with limited supervision and substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
Job Summary:
eLearning Developer is to work under the supervision of the eLearning Coordinator to facilitate the creation of high-quality eLearning courses. Looking for a candidate to create high quality, engaging eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline. Will work with a team to develop self-paced, online tutorials in a rapid development context.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and refresh content in existing eLearning courses.
- Work with the eLearning Coordinator to develop, release and development timelines.
- Coordinate tasks and requirements with other developers and managers
- Modify original screen designs and interactions from Adobe Flash courses to improve instructional design, usability, user motivation, and/or visual design characteristics.
- Provide creative design and technology solutions to create learning and training
- Edit images, audio, and video as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
- 3+ years of experience with an instructional strategy and design methodologies for adult learners
- 3+ years of experience with creating high-quality, interactive, and effective learning solutions for both classroom, web-based, and webinar delivery
- Experience designing and developing eLearning/online learning experiences.
- Experience with using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or eLearning development software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior submarine service
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Instructional Design, User Experience, or Human-Centered Design Certification
- Familiar with Agile development and tools like JIRA
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking
ADA Notations:
- Prolonged use of computer/typing or keyboarding.
- Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms.
- Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Vision requirements include: close, distant, color perception, peripheral, depth and ability to focus.
