    The Role: Housecall Pro is looking for a Contract Instructional Designer who will be responsible for providing expertise, creativity and leadership to drive the design, development and delivery of the sales enablement program. This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and facilitation of sales training programs in multiple modalities including: virtual instructor-led training, job aides and other learning materials.
     

    The individual in this position will work collaboratively with colleagues, subject matter experts, and the sales leadership team to drive curriculum development and learning design for virtual learning offerings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leads large scale learning & development projects for the sales organization
    • Consults with stakeholders to assess learning and training needs, identify gaps and determine appropriate learning strategy
    • Designs and develops training in all modalities including: online training, virtual training, instructor-led, job aides, videos
    • Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for instructor-led and virtual sessions
    • Explore alternative methods/mediums of providing training to sales organization
    • Establishes and maintains standards for content design, development, and delivery
    • Responsible for the continued maintenance and development of sales department training curriculum to consistently improve and evolve our programs as we grow and scale the business
    • Project manages the development and implementation of Housecall Pro learning experiences (e-Learning, ILT, Informal, etc.). This includes, preparing and delivering project documentation, status reports, and communications with stakeholders.
    • Implement evaluation strategy to demonstrate effectiveness and return on investment of all training
    • Remain abreast of technology directions, initiatives, and trends to provide ideas, guidance, and recommendations
    • Manages multiple projects and processes on time and on budget

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree or additional certification a plus.
    • 3+ years of instructional design and development experience. Sales experience preferred.
    • Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and/or other authoring tools.
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Proficient in Premiere Pro (or other video editing software), Photoshop, and After Effects).
    • Experience with Adobe InDesign (strong graphic design capabilities preferred).
    • Expertise in adult learning theory and ADDIE model.
    • Experience designing and/or delivering sales training.
    • Experience managing an LMS preferred.
    • Ability to be a thought leader in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
    • A strong portfolio of eLearning, virtual and ILT work that demonstrates mastery as an instructional designer.
    • A track record of utilizing the latest information on instructional design techniques and practices.
    • Possess strong content writing ability, creativity, attention to detail and excellent proofing and editing skills.
    • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with virtual facilitation experience. Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise well-organized manner.

    Contract Pay Rate: $50-$75 per Hour
