Role description
PulseLearning is embarking on a new growth phase. We are looking for seasoned freelance eLearning Developers with strong graphic and video design skills to build creative and engaging, multimedia-rich, digital learning experiences for our growing range of Clients. The focus of this role is to build high-quality courses using a range of eLearning development tools. These courses will be created in line with instructional design storyboards.
- Build interactive learning products using a range of software including Articulate Storyline and RISE based on storyboards from the Instructional Design team.
- Have experience working in an agile project flow with an iterative approach to development.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with an agile team.
- Develop animation and motion graphics for a variety of eLearning projects.
- Develop gamified content for learning.
- Develop scenario-based and interactive video learning.
- Assist in the planning, setup, and recording of video content.
- Video editing and post-production.
- Support Project Managers in meeting deadlines for development projects.
- Contribute ideas for the development of new multimedia graphics, innovations, and standards for best practices.
- Create content that complies with various standards set by the industry, Clients, and regulatory standards.
- Keep current with the latest developments and innovations in the field of media product design and emerging technologies.
- Promote and practice company values in the leadership of staff and in the nurturing of a creative, innovative, and enjoyable work environment.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of learning and development experience, specifically using Articulate Storyline (high proficiency required).
- Proficient understanding of graphic design principles.
- Strong eye for detail and design.
- Agile mindset and approach (iterative development, minimal viable products, making dynamic adjustments in line with changing needs).
- Experience developing from Storyboards.
- Confident, professional manner with good communication skills.
- Strong ability and experience working with learning projects.
- Ability to assess and recommend appropriate development approaches.
- Ability to work on multiple related projects at the same time.
- Ability to work within various tools: Storyline, PowerPoint, Adobe.
Preferred skills and experience
- Instructional Design experience
- Camtasia
- Adobe Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
- Video and animation development and editing
- VILT deck creation (PowerPoint)
- PDF creation
