eLearning Developer Job

Our large energy industry client is seeking a highly skilled eLearning Developer/Multimedia Consultant to work with the Sr. Instructional Design Team and Sr. eLearning Lead in the development of a series of 15–30-minute eLearning lessons for field technicians who operate and maintain systems in the hydrocarbon producing and processing industry. The subject matter is mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment such as pumps, piping, valves, heat exchangers, compressors, and more.

In this role, you will develop highly interactive and multimedia-rich eLearning lessons in Storyline 360. Working from storyboards and scripts from Sr. Instructional Designers, utilizing assets from 3D animators and artists and content libraries, you will develop highly engaging modern eLearning that will be the next generation of training for an existing program.

Start Date: Q3 2024
Duration: Through the end of 2025 with the possibility to extend
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Virtual

Experience Required:

• 10+ years’ experience in eLearning development, including development of media-centric modules that incorporate audio, video, animations, and a high level of interactivity.
• Experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Experience creating eLearning for complex technical content.
• Able to develop more than one lesson at a time.
• Highly skilled in Articulate Storyline 360; must provide your own laptop and license
• Experience with video and audio production and editing, including working with After Effects and Vyond. Must own licenses.
• Must be able to show excellent samples as part of the consultant selection process.
• Must be highly collaborative and excellent at working with Sr. Instructional Designers and the Project Manager to bring designs and storyboards to life with excellent visual appeal.
• Must be dedicated and deadline driven with a natural drive to create an excellent end product.

The pay range for this is $60.00 to $65.00 per hour W2. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
