    Position Overview:
    As an Instructional Designer at EAS, you’ll design, develop, deliver, and strategize to meet the business needs of our programs, from new hires to experienced professionals and beyond. Your role will be pivotal in delivering a consistent training experience that directly impacts our company’s success and key performance indicators. As a member of our young and growing department you will have a voice and influence in helping to set the standard of excellence we will move forward with.
    Responsibilities:
    • Develop strong, measurable learning objectives aligned with business goals and program needs including ROI measurement.
    • Be involved with evolving our blended learning strategy, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
    • Apply advanced adult learning theories to design practical results-oriented training solutions.
    • Evangelize best practices in training and influence the team to execute them effectively.
    • Function as a business partner within the Learning and Development network, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
    • Project manage programs to ensure timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
    • Conduct Level 2 and Level 3 evaluations based on established evaluation models.
    • Utilize training consumption data to identify trends and improve content based on quantifiable data and business results.
    Qualifications:
    • Advanced degree or certification in Instructional Design or Adult Learning with 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience and certifications.
    • Proven expertise in instructional design and performance consulting for different industries, construction and manufacturing a plus.
    • Deep knowledge of instructional design theories and the ability to convey them effectively to stakeholders.
    • Experience in using training consumption data to drive improvements and consult on performance.
    • Proficiency in conducting evaluations based on established evaluation models.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop interactive and engaging e-learning courses as well as blended learning, and instructor led programs, including leadership and executive level programs.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Exceptional communication skills, experience consulting, and coaching are a plus.
    Skills:
    • Proficient in instructional design, including writing and managing learning objectives and authoring content. We use the Articulate suite.
    • Experience with Workday Learning is a plus.
    • Experience in multimedia development, including eLearning authoring, animation, writing scripts, filming, video editing, and graphic design are required.
    • An understanding of employee experience journey mapping, career mapping, and how L&D fits into these journeys and paths is required.
    • Expertise in learner experience design, focusing on visual design, usability, interactivity, and accessibility.
    • Ability to apply adult learning theories effectively to align with overall learning strategy and solve business problems.
    • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and must have examples of times when you demonstrated grit in the face of challenges.
    • Passionate about taking on challenges and achieving results in a highly collaborative environment.
