    The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Management System Manager to join a talented and dedicated team of learning professionals. This is a Full-Time, Limited Duration, Management Services-Confidential position with the OHA Agency Operations Division.

    • This announcement is for one, full-time, Limited Duration-Fixed Term, Learning Management System Administrator (Operations & Policy Analyst 3) position and may be used to fill future vacancies.
    • This opportunity is limited duration and is expected to last until June 30, 2025, with the possibility of being extended or made permanent.
    • This opportunity may be filled as a job rotation with approval by the sending agency.

     

    The AA Salary Range for this position is between $6,257.00 to $9,226.00 per month.

     

    What you will do!

     

    This position oversees the state-wide Learning Management System (LMS), called Workday Learning (WDL), for the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). This position leads and participates across a variety of workforce development solutions (synchronous and asynchronous, distance, in-person, blended) to maximize strategic impact and OHA/Human Resources (HR) business continuity as it pertains to the LMS and technologies supporting workforce development.

     

    In this position, you will provide assessment, planning, and recommendations for the implementation, operational effectiveness, and continual improvement of the technologies that automate and support the business of training and workforce development for OHA. This position is responsible for the promotion and OHA-wide implementation, development of standards and practices for these technologies and services, provides consultative advice on the LMS and technologies to agency staff and workforce development entities leveraging experts in specific areas of work, e.g., Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, accessibility, eLearning, etc.   You will work closely with HR’s Workday team and Training teams across OHA.

    What we are looking for:

     

    A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

    OR;
    Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.

     

    Requested Skills:

    • Excellent customer service skills, abililty to resolve challenging situations involving complex customer concerns, technical LMS issues, troubleshooting, and extensive consultation on the use, application, and reporting functions of the LMS.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks  effectively, accurately, and timely in a fast paced environment. Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and have flexibility in meeting a variety of changing demands.
    • Work demands excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting complex concepts in easy to understand terms, making engaging presentations to large audiences, and working with business partners one-on-one.
    • Effective relationship building and promotion of learning management system application, use, and reportingcoworkers, business partners, and management.
    • Highly skilled in Workday, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
