    Job Description:
    The Design Consultant works in partnership with Project Consultants, Evaluation & Measurement Consultants, Business Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), the broader Learning & Development team (e.g. Delivery and Program Support) and other stakeholders to deliver high quality, multi-model blended learning solutions on a variety of learning projects that support business strategic priorities, enable people strategies and impact key business measures.
    Responsible for designing, developing and delivering training materials and programs aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding of financial crime risks. Collaborating with SMEs to identify training needs, designing engaging and effective learning experiences, and utilizing various instructional methods and technologies to deliver high-quality training content. This role will play a key role in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making continuous improvements to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
    Depth & Scope:
    • Collaborates and consults with Learning & Development (L&D) Leadership and Learning Business Partners to deliver learning recommendations and solutions for the supported Design team
    • Partners with internal and non-L&D stakeholders to build, implement, promote, communicate, track, and create business-as-usual plans for the supported Design team
    • Takes a North American perspective and One TD approach to instructional design strategy and execution, development, and evaluation; Ensures common content and learning structures are leveraged consistently, in lieu of customization
    • Designs learning and development programs, including instructional frameworks, content mapping, prototypes or drafts, narrative scripts, storyboards in various delivery methods including virtual classroom, eLearning, webinars, self-led materials and in-class workshops
    • Implements and successfully delivers multiple concurrent design projects of varying complexity, ensuring regular updates to stakeholders and L&D databases/tracking tools
    • Delivers effective, planned and consistent SME and stakeholder engagement and deliverables, including regular and effective SME communications and updates, whether virtual or in person
    • Identifies and endorses existing and net new performance support requirements to ensure learning recommendations and interventions are sustainable after the event
    • Leads strategic initiatives for L&D design function, from inception to implementation and ensures meaningful tracking for L&D Design
    Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • 5+ years related experience required
    • Possesses deep subject matter expertise in the area of design, along with knowledge of external design best practices, emerging trends, and vendors
    • Strategic thinker
    • Strong relationship builder, collaborator, communicator and influencer
    • Demonstrates excellent judgment
    • Adaptable and flexible to change
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to take strategic direction and follow through with execution plans
    Preferred Skills:
    • E-learning development tools- proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Storyline, Adobe Captivate or similar platforms to create interactive and engaging training materials.
    • Project Management- to manage multiple project simultaneously, meet deadlines and drive initiatives forward effectively.
